Prof. Aworemi attended Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso where he obtained Ph.D in Management Science and M.Sc in Transport Studies from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye.
Prof. Aworemi joined the services of LAUTECH, Ogbomoso as an Assistant Lecturer in 2004 and rose through the ranks to become a Professor in 2017. He has over fifty (50) publications in reputable journals both local and international, and has also attended numerous conferences. He is a Professor of Transport Operations and Management with specific interests in public transportation, transport financing & management, and performance measurement.
Prof. Aworemi is a member of different professional bodies including the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, London; Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria, Institute of Professional Financial Managers, London.
